A COMPUTER
A faster computer can improve video stream quality. Upgrading to an i7 processor with 4 GB (gigabytes) of RAM memory (or more) will generally give you better video. That said, you can webcam model using most any computer with a decent internet connection. You can even use your cell phone to broadcast LIVE on CamSharks. Individual earnings vary.
TYPE OF WEBCAM
Broadcasting in HD can improve video quality. You can use a camcorder with a capture card or an inexpensive plug and play Logitech C920 webcam. No external camera? You can use your internal laptop camera for webcam modeling until you can upgrade.
INTERNET SPEED
You can broadcast live video with most internet connection speeds, but using a fast cable internet connection with at LEAST 2 mbps of UPLOAD speed (or higher) is strongly recommended for the best HD video.
AGE VERIFICATION
You will need to be age verified as 18 years of age or older (19 yrs. in Canada) to work on CamSharks. You will be required to submit a valid state-issued driver’s license or ID card, a passport, or a national identification card before you can be approved to work as a webcam model.
BIO PICTURE
Before approval you will need at least 1 picture uploaded to your public CamSharks model profile. You choose what type of photo to use in your public profile and you can upload as many different bio pics to your profile as you would like. You are in control of your profiles main picture.
MAKE A GREAT PROFILE
We have created an easy point and click method that lets you make a CamSharks public profile in just a few minutes. Once approved, your profile may be visible on the applicable webcam network sites according to the current account terms.
