How to Choose a Webcam Model Screen Name….. Coming up with a great stage name can be nerve wracking for a lot of people! You’re going to be known by that name during your entire adult webcamming career.
Here’s my best advice! Choose a name that’s easy to understand. Make sure it’s something easy for fans to remember. Your stage name should not have any part of your real name in it. You should not use any known character’s names, or TV, book persona’s etc. Most names are trademarked and you could easily run into problems or have your name rejected all together.
Some things I like to tell people to consider when thinking of a name. Make it something you love and can live with. Come up with the first and last part of your name. It doesn’t need to be a real first and last name such as: Suzie Long, but it should have two parts preferably as most one-part names will already be long taken by someone else. Perhaps a name part and a descriptive part. Such as: SuzieQ or SexySuzie.
When you pick a name, google it and see if it is widely in use by someone else already first before you choose that name. Make sure it’s not the name of a well-known company or individual. Google the name with “cammodel” or “webcam model” or “cam model” and see what comes up first before you make a final decision. When you choose a webcam model screen name… Whatever your final choice is, you’ll need to possibly add a number after it in order to gain access to that name, in case the name has already been taken, which is common with webcam worker names. Be sure to have some additional choices ready in case yours is already gone.
